Potty Training Seems Impossible?

Hi my son is now 3 years old, I have been trying to potty train him for over 4 months now every single day. I am loosing my mind. I have tried the Little Potty’s, the potty conversion seats, and just the regular potty. I Ask him every 10 minutes between me and my wife "Do you have to go potty?" he responds "No". Well it will seen sometime moments after he told us "no". He will poop. We try to explain to him he is a big boy. He will Pee for us, but only if we ask. Not on his own. We even commend him if he poops or pees with a few jelly beans, and he loves them. We have even let him run around with no diaper because we know a diaper is a comfort for him. Well he begs us for a diaper and we dont give him, we will continue to ask him every 5-10 mins and nothing, well guess what I found poop on the floor, like a dog.. :’( this has been going on for 4 months. Our son is very smart, i dont understand his fear of the potty, the Baby potty or the seat you can place on the potty. We help him the best we can but he does not get it.. One time, he said "i gotta poop i gotta poop!" and we ran him in there and he did! and we made a huge deal of it! and got him a ice cream cone because we were so proud but.. nothing after that :’( any advice? this is one of the hardest thing we’ve ever had to accomplish.
THank you

Potty training ideas?

My two, soon to be three year ols refuses to use the potty. She will tell me she needs to pee but will fight you if you try to set her on the potty. Then as soon as she gets up she’ll pee in her panties. We haven’t even attempted to poop in the potty. I am seventeen weeks pregnant and would really like to have her completely potty trained before this baby is born. But I don’t want to make it a trmatic event either.
I have tried to reward her with movies, toys, candy, and new panties that she gets to pick out but nothing seems to work.
PLease help if you’ve been in my situation or if you have a good idea.
I’ve also read all the books and watched all the movies.
Please help!!1

potty training 1 year old?

believe me I KNOW IT SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!! our dd turned 1 last week and it was a huge day in our house. she had been taking a few steps here and there but nothing very good and then all of the sudden ON her birthday she climbed off my lap and walked i mean like really really walked away from me(yes, i cried). anyhow, since that day she has been squatting when she poops so yesterday i got a really cheap potty, not with the intention of training yet but i liked the design, got it at ikea-really easy to clean no crevices etc. anyhow(again, lol) today she had started to poop while eating breakfast but she was getting frustrated so i took her out of her chair figuring she would squat. by the way its not because she is having a hard time going, that was my initial thought but its not the reason. my hubby says put her on the potty and see what she does….so i did…and she did!!!!!! diaper on but she sat there til she was done and then got up. i feel silly even asking cuz she seems so young(not to mention im not "emotionally" ready to potty train my little baby, hear the denial?)but is she ready? also(sorry, tmi)when i go to the bathroom she is usually in there with me and i’ll always say come on mama has to go potty or pee-pee and she will actually point at me/toilet and say pee-pee when i start to pee, does she "know" what its all about maybe? i wasnt expecting this so young so im not sure if im crazy or what. if u think shes ready any suggestions on training her?

Okay I know 100 million people post questions about potty training but… my daughter will be 3 in April. We have been working on potty training passively for about 5 months and pretty consistently for the last 2. She is *really* smart, she speaks 9 and 10 word sentences, she fully understands the concept of potty training. She will tell you immediately after she goes that she needs changed. She goes and hides behind things to poop in her pull up. But she will tell you that only babies potty in their pull ups, that big girls go in the toilet, that if she just tells me, she knows I will take her. She LOVES to go potty 1st thing when she wakes up in the morning and just before bed… but any time during the day, forget it. She will CRY and SCREAM if I catch her going in her pull up and say "Come on, let’s go do that in the potty like a big girl" I don’t want to scar her, but at the same time she’s so smart that people look at me like I’m lazy that she isn’t potty trained yet.

Any ideas? We have tried "potty candy" reward for good behavior, spanking when she’s caught pooping in her pull up, reminding her, setting a schedule where she goes once an hour… nothing works. Anyone have a child like this? What worked? My son (who is now 7) wasn’t interested in potty training until he was 3 but once we started, he got it and we’ve never looked back… I thought girls were supposed to be EASIER?

Is my 18 month old potty training herself?

We have had the potty for a few months now. We don’t try sticking her on it during the day, but rather, if she sees it and shows interest in it, we put her on it. Sometimes she pees in it, sometimes she doesn’t. Sometimes she stands up from it and pees on the floor. No biggie.

Today when I was putting her down for a nap, she said "potty", so I let her take my hand to lead me to the bathroom. She needed help, but she was no more on that potty when she had a BM.

Was this just a coincidence? Other times when she shows interest she always says "potty" but she only uses it about 40% of the time.

Also, when your child uses the potty and it’s a BM, how on earth do you clean it without gagging?! Being pregnant with a potty-training toddler has its advantages, but disadvantages, too! *barf*

Oh, we use a Baby Bjorn potty, one that you dump out yourself…hence the gagging! We’ve tried using a potty seat for on the toilet but she was scared of being up too high. We’ll save that for down the road.
Heh, I’m not saying every parent doesn’t go through the messy potties, but what I mean is is there a trick to making cleaning easier? This one stuck all over since there was no pee in it…is it easier and quicker to throw some water in with it and swish it? I tried dumping it out but it wasn’t very solid, so I had to use toilet paper. I mean, we use cloth diapers so I have to do that anyway, but it just seems much different scooping it from a diaper than from a potty bowl!
