My son is three and he is completely potty trained, at night we put some night time pants on in case of an accident (he never has them) so he has been fully trained for almost a year now.

This is what I did with my son
Ask your son every 45-1 hour if he needs to go potty (he will most likely say no) and after an hour and half or so make him sit on the potty and say "I better hear you go" and he should go (you can give him a little treat like cookies or candy), make a chart and leave it next to the potty and have him put a sticker on it every time he goes and at the end of a week get him a little prize.

I have three children, they were 2, 2 1/2 and almost 3 before they were potty trained, you can not rush them, you will know when they are ready.

My daughter was 3 before she was totally potty trained. She still has accidents and she’ll be 4 March 30. Honestly, for each kid is different. When he starts complaining about the diaper, its time to potty train.

My daughter was not quite 3 1/2.

Do not rush him.

I waited until my daughter was ready, and we had completed our move halfway across the country. I finally took away the pull ups at night and we have only had a couple of accidents since October.

My daughter was about 18 month. But from what I hear it’s diffrent for boys and girls. My doctor told me not to rush her and let her do it when she was ready. good luck

Well I wasn’t pushing my son either I wanted him to be comfortable but yesterday I walked in the bathroom and he was standing up wiping his own tush! I walked over and praised him gave him a high five and was SOOOO PROUD!!! Then 30 min later he came and told me he pooped in his floor!!! AHHHH I wanted to scream! I told him I was not putting another diaper on his bottom! I know he understands me! I didn’t want to push it but I just have had it he even peed on me one day after I asked him if he needed to go and he peed on me! I was like what the crap! Oh and he will be 3 in May!

I started by sitting him with me or his daddy whenever we used the bathroom, and then for his first b-day we bought him a potty. He didnt show any interest in actually using it so we just set it to the side and let him get used to the presence of it lol. So anyway, a month after he turned two i decided i was sick of having two babies in diapers so i bought him big boy underwear and sweats, put them in a basket he could reach in his room, and took him completely out of diapers. At first it was long and hard, and pretty gross, but now 3 months later he is completely potty trained, and so proud of himself!
The best tips i could give u is take him out of diapers, always keep underwear on him, explain, and be patient.

And boys usually take longer.

My daughter mastered it literally two days before her 3rd birthday.
