When she is able to identify and alert you when she needs to urinate and/or make a bowl movement is when you should start. When she tells you she needs to, go into the bathroom and set her on her baby toilet ( sometimes the big toilet is scary ).
Sing, read books, play with toys to get her to just relax on the potty. Wait about 15 or so minutes and if she didn’t do anything then don’t be upset. If she did, reward her with lots of praise and kisses ( or maybe some dancing, like we used to
).
Well, I’m not a parent, but I have a huge age gap between me and my siblings (i’m 16, they are 5 and 2 and a half).
We started getting them to go on the toilet when they were roughly 2. Personally, I’d wait a few more months, but I’m not the parent

They are both boys so they kind of naturally want to go on the toilet like me or our dad, so I’m not so sure what you should do with your daughter. What I would do is wait for her to gain the courage and curiosity to do it herself, and then give her some sort of small reward for doing so. Keep rewarding her for a while, and bam, you have a potty trained baby
